April Ryan, the White House Correspondent and Washington Bureau Chief for American Urban Radio Networks, has made it clear that she’ll do absolutely anything to make Donald Trump and his administration look bad. During the White House press briefing on Tuesday, Trump Press Secretary Sean Spicer finally lost his patience with Ryan, humiliating her in front of all the reporters in attendance.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Spicer told Ryan to “stop shaking your head again” during a brief Q&A in which she kept interrupting and arguing with Spicer. Ryan waved her arms and wagged her finger as she mouthed off to Spicer, making it clear that she has no respect for him.
Ryan began by asking Spicer how the Trump administration can “try to revamp its image” with so many negative news narratives arrayed against it such as Russia and Sally Yates. The liberal reporter started out by saying/half talking to herself, “Sean, you don’t seem so happy, um go ahead…”
“If the president puts Russian salad dressing on his salad tonight somehow that’s a Russian connection,” Spicer responded. He later explained that both Democrats and Republicans have admitted that there is no evidence that Trump colluded with Russia to rig the election.
“I’m sorry that that disgusts you,” Spicer told Ryan. “You’re shaking your head.”
She then brought up Trump’s recent meeting with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, pointing out that the president made a vulgar comment about her in 2006. She also said that Rice never supported Trump during the election.
“April, hold on, it seems like you’re hell-bent on trying to make sure that whatever image you want to tell about this White House stays,” he said, later adding, “Stop shaking your head again.”
