PHILADELPHIA —Two filthy thugs shot a man in cold blood right in front his 2-year-old daughter for no reason at all- except I believe that racism was involved.

Gerard Grandzol, 38, took his little girl and their dog to a local park to relax and play Frisbee.

When they arrived back home and were getting out of their car they were approached by two thugs who demanded his wallet and his car keys.

Grandzol did not resist, police said Saturday night, but wanted to get his 2-year-old daughter out of the car. Apparently that pissed off one of the thugs and he felt Grandzol wasn’t moving fast enough so he shot Grandzol twice in the head as the little girl watched, according to Rita Giordano at Philly.com.

He died later that night at Hahnemann University Hospital.

Police said Grandzol was shot twice in the face at point-blank range, in front of his daughter, who was still in the vehicle.

On Saturday, police arrested Maurice Roberts, 21, of Philadelphia, and his 16-year-old brother, who allegedly shot Grandzol, Fox News reports.

Maurice? Well he’s either French or black. My guess is the latter.

“They wanted the car; he wouldn’t give up the car. And they shot him for it,” Homicide Capt. John Ryan was quoted as saying by the CBS affiliate in Philadelphia.

The two brothers evidently were determined to rob someone, and Grandzol became their target, police said.

Ryan told reporters at a briefing that the weapon used in the murder was a 9-mm. handgun. The suspects were well-known to police because of prior arrests, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Police said private video at the scene and SEPTA video of the suspects fleeing via train helped identify them.

SEPTA Police Chief Thomas Nestel said his officials, using Philadelphia police descriptions, located video of the suspects’ flight by Friday morning. Nestel said one of his officers recognized the elder Roberts as someone the officer had arrested in March on a narcotics charge.

“I know that guy. I locked him up,” Nestel said his officer said.

Both brothers had had prior run-ins with the law, police said, adding that the elder Roberts had previously been arrested six or seven times. Police said the brothers had lived in various parts of the city and lived what one police source called “unsettled lives.”

The brothers will face murder and related charges, police said.

Grandzol was active in his community. His involvement included being a board member of the Francisville Neighborhood Development Corp.

Just six weeks ago, he became a father again, and reported the birth of his second daughter on social media.

“This is just not fair that this is how he died,” the victim’s widow, Kristin Grandzol, told KYW Newsradio.

“He was just the best father to our two girls that you could even imagine,” she added. “He was welcoming to everyone in the neighborhood. Everybody loved him and he was just the best.”

“Those two gunshots just destroyed my life and my two daughters don’t have a father now. I have a 6-week-old daughter and a two-and-a-half year-old who saw the whole thing and I don’t know if she’ll ever be right.”

Police Chief Inspector James Kelly, at Saturday’s briefing, offered his condolences to the Grandzol family. This is a slaying, he said, that “really pulls at the heartstrings. It’s the senseless slaying of a father in front of his 2-year-old daughter. That shouldn’t happen. That shouldn’t happen to any family anywhere.”

Hopefully these 2 thugs face a CONSERVATIVE JUDGE, not some Obama loving liberal bitch and he locks these 2 savage animals in a cage where they belong.

God Bless.
